What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a type of meditative practice that involves lying in a comfortable position and allowing the body to relax completely. It is often described as a state between wakefulness and sleep, in which the body is completely relaxed and the mind is still and alert. Yoga nidra is said to have many benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, and promoting overall well-being. During a yoga nidra practice, the practitioner is guided through a series of mental exercises, such as body scans and visualizations, to help them relax and let go of any tension or stress. This practice can be done on its own or as part of a yoga class.
